Choose Bui Vien for a street-bar atmosphere; choose Le Thanh Ton for Japanese restaurants, smaller bars and private karaoke. Neither area has a single price or one closing time. Compare the venue and its bill, then book transport between separate areas only if you still want another stop.

If this is your first evening in Saigon
Start with dinner near the area you choose. Leave time to read the menu and see whether the atmosphere suits you. A restaurant, rooftop and two nightlife districts can make the evening mostly travel and queues. A simpler plan is dinner, one bar area, then a booked ride back.
Use restaurants by dish and neighbourhood for dinner, rooftop bars for a separate skyline stop, and the night map to check locations. These are different plans, rather than a ranking of places.
Compare the same people, time and inclusions
A table charge per person is not a room price for the whole group. For example, our own Rabbit Bar hall charge is $6 per person plus drinks, while the soju KTV package starts at 1,500,000 VND per person for one hour. Two people therefore pay 3,000,000 VND for that package before any separately ordered extras. Other venues set their own terms.
