Bui Vien Walking Street: plan your evening before you go

Where is Bui Vien, and when is it pedestrian-only?

Search for Bùi Viện, Phạm Ngũ Lão in your map app. Vietnam Airlines lists the weekend walking-street period as Saturday and Sunday, 19:00–02:00. That describes vehicle restrictions, rather than a promise that every venue opens or closes at those times. Check the barriers and local signs on the day.

What should you check before ordering?

• Read the drink size and price, including tax or service charges.
• Ask whether sitting at a table creates a minimum order.

Bui Vien or Le Thanh Ton?

Bui Vien suits a street-bar evening. Le Thanh Ton is a different area, with Japanese restaurants, small bars and karaoke rooms.
