For a fast ferry between Ho Chi Minh City and Vung Tau, confirm the actual boarding pier and schedule with your operator. This is a different service from the Saigon River waterbus.

Which ferry are you booking?

The operator also describes a Ho Chi Minh City–Can Gio–Vung Tau route, so check the stops for your particular sailing. Routes and schedules can change.
Check the Ho Chi Minh City boarding point
GreenlinesDP announced that from 28 August 2025 its Saigon boarding point moved from pier 2 at 10B Ton Duc Thang to pier 4 opposite Ham Nghi Street, about 50m from the Thu Ngu Flagpole. The operator’s current contact page still lists its Saigon ticket office at 10B Ton Duc Thang, so do not assume the office address is the boarding pier. Do not confuse it with the local waterbus station; check your ticket and the operator’s latest notice for the current pier before boarding.
Arrival and return from Vung Tau
The operator’s contact page lists a Vung Tau ticket office at 1A Tran Phu, but a ticket office is not necessarily the boarding pier. Check the arrival and return piers and the return departure time separately on your ticket.
Continuing to Le Thanh Ton
Rabbit Bar is inside the alley at 15B/32 Le Thanh Ton. Check the route and estimated travel time from the pier to the alley entrance on the day. An enquiry alone does not confirm a venue reservation or a ferry seat; confirm each separately.
Is the river waterbus the same as the Vung Tau ferry?
No. Saigon Waterbus route 1 and the Vung Tau fast ferry are different services. Check the operator, route and pier.
Is the return departure automatic?
No. Check your return date, sailing, pier and booking terms separately.
